TRAINING
Training
Courses delivered by people who run the bench, at your site or at the laboratory, in English or Arabic.
ORIENTATION
Taught from the bench
These are working courses, built around real records and real audit findings rather than slides of clause numbers. The people delivering them spend the rest of the week doing the thing being taught.
What the courses are
Short, practical sessions on the standards and methods a laboratory customer has to live with: what ISO/IEC 17025 actually asks for, how to run an internal audit that finds something, and what measurement uncertainty means at a specification limit. Most of each day is spent looking at what good and bad evidence looks like.
Who they serve
Analysts and technicians who work inside a quality system daily, the quality staff who maintain it, and the managers accountable for it — including organisations preparing for accreditation for the first time, where the usual failure is not competence but not knowing what evidence an assessor will ask to see.
How they relate to the disciplines
The subjects come straight out of the laboratory’s own work. The same standard that governs our testing and calibration scope is the one taught in the awareness course, the audit course audits systems like ours, and the uncertainty course explains the figures our own certificates carry. Delivery is at your site or at the laboratory, in English or Arabic.

The full course list
Standards, audit and uncertainty
3 coursesThe three that stand under everything else — what the standard asks, how to audit against it, and what a number is actually worth.
- C-01ISO/IEC 17025 awarenessWhat the standard actually requires of a laboratory, in plain language, for teams who have to work to it rather than write it.1 day · View →
- C-02Internal auditorHow to plan, conduct, record and close an internal audit that finds something useful rather than confirming everything is fine.2 days · View →
- C-03Measurement uncertaintyWhere uncertainty comes from, how it is estimated, and what it means for a conformity decision at the specification limit.1 day · View →
Quality systems and result validity
7 coursesValidation, control, records, and what to do when a number looks wrong.
- C-04Method validation and verification in testing laboratoriesThe difference between validating a method and verifying one, and how to evidence either so it survives an assessment.2 days · View →
- C-05Laboratory method performance and result validityAccuracy, precision, bias and recovery — what each one measures, and which of them your result actually depends on.1 day · View →
- C-06Quality control in chemical and microbiological testingThe controls that run alongside your samples, what each one is protecting you from, and what to do when one fails.1 day · View →
- C-07Internal quality control and control chartingTurning individual control results into a picture of whether the method is stable, and reading a trend before it becomes a failure.1 day · View →
- C-08Proficiency testing and interlaboratory comparisonChoosing schemes that actually cover your scope, reading a z-score properly, and acting on a poor result in a way that closes it.1 day · View →
- C-09Technical records and raw data managementWhat has to be recorded, how corrections are made, and what makes a record able to reconstruct a result years later.1 day · View →
- C-10Technical troubleshooting and root cause analysisWorking back from an abnormal result to the thing that actually caused it, and proving the fix worked.2 days · View →
Calibration and reference standards
5 coursesTraceability in practice — the instruments, materials and reagents every measurement stands on.
- C-11Laboratory equipment calibration and metrological traceabilityWhat traceability actually requires, how calibration intervals should be set, and how to read a calibration certificate critically.1 day · View →
- C-12Analytical balance: operation, verification and uncertaintyThe instrument under almost every result in the laboratory, and the checks that keep it trustworthy between calibrations.1 day · View →
- C-13Volumetric glassware: calibration and good laboratory practicePipettes, flasks and burettes — what their class actually guarantees, and how to calibrate them gravimetrically when it matters.1 day · View →
- C-14Laboratory reference materials and certified reference materialsSelecting the right reference material, reading its certificate properly, and handling it so it stays what the certificate says.1 day · View →
- C-15Chemical reagent preparation, standardisation and managementPreparing solutions that are what the label says, standardising the ones that need it, and controlling the shelf they sit on.1 day · View →
Analytical instrumentation
4 coursesOperating and troubleshooting the main instruments, with the system-suitability checks that keep results defensible.
- C-16HPLC and UPLC: operation, troubleshooting and system suitabilityRunning the instrument well, proving the system was fit before the batch, and diagnosing the faults that produce plausible wrong answers.2 days · View →
- C-17GC and GC-MS: operation, troubleshooting and system suitabilityInjection through detection, the faults specific to gas chromatography, and what mass spectrometric detection adds and demands.2 days · View →
- C-18UV-visible spectrophotometry: technical operation and quality controlThe instrument most laboratories trust most and check least — its performance checks, its linear range, and where Beer’s law stops holding.1 day · View →
- C-19ICP-OES and ICP-MS: technical operation and quality controlTrace elemental analysis: calibration, the interferences that will catch you, and the QC that proves a low-level result is real.2 days · View →
Microbiology and sampling
3 coursesFrom the sampling point to the incubator — technique, media and contamination control.
- C-20Microbiological testing techniques and contamination controlAseptic technique, dilution and plating, incubation control, and keeping the laboratory itself out of the result.2 days · View →
- C-21Culture media preparation and performance testingPreparing media correctly, sterilising without damaging it, and proving each batch performs before samples depend on it.1 day · View →
- C-22Sampling techniques and sample handlingThe part of the result that happens before the laboratory sees it — and the part no amount of good bench work can repair.1 day · View →
TRAINING
Courses
Training delivered by people who run the bench, not by a training department reading from a deck. Courses are run at your site or at the laboratory, in English or Arabic.
Additional subjects are delivered on request, including sampling technique, method validation, food hygiene and HACCP. Ask and we will tell you honestly whether it is something we teach well.
Requests are read at the bench.
Send the sample question or the instrument list. It is read by a bench professional, not routed through a ticket queue. Call +966 59 637 8052 or write to lab-mgr@qsinexus.com.
